ARTPROV, A Part of The Tank’s 10th Anniversary Season of Celebration
Saturday, December 15
7:00pm reception, 8:00pm show
151 W 46th Street, 8th Floor

Dear friend,

As we enter The Tank’s 10th Anniversary Year (that’s right – 10 years!) we would like to celebrate our many highlights and ask for your help to support our ambitious vision for the next ten years.

The Tank Space for the Performing Arts was founded on an ideal: to be a place where emerging artists could find their voice, where community and risk-taking would be valued over competition and exclusivity, where the newest ideas would be refined and developed into the next movement.

Nearly ten years later, The Tank stands alone in the extent to which it provides a welcoming, creative, collaborative and affordable environment for performing artists to engage in the pursuit of new ideas, delivering access to dynamic, cutting-edge programming to the next generation of audiences.

Over the past decade no organization in New York City has presented more premieres in such a diversity of disciplines, showcased more next generation artists, or been a more accessible source of new art than The Tank. And our policy of low cost admission helps draw a new generation of arts patrons and inspires audience diversity. The proof can be seen walking in the door each evening: audiences at The Tank are young, vital, interested and mixed in every way.

Looking toward our milestone 10th year, we will continue to expand The Tank’s scope of activities and service to artists while maintaining its vital place at the heart of experimental arts in New York City. The Tank will proudly present over 400 performances across several performing arts disciplines: theater, dance, music, comedy, multi-media and emerging genres. Check out our highlights for 2012-2013 – there is literally something for everyone! And after a journey that has seen us bring this creative energy to a variety of venues, we're delighted to let you know that our second decade starts firmly on a stage where we will make our home for years to come.

Together we have accomplished a great deal to strengthen the arts community throughout New York City. And that we were able to do so during a period of dramatically reduced arts funding is testament to how crucial your support has been. We couldn’t do this work without you, so please support us at whatever level you can.

Thank you for your help and see you at The Tank,

Justin Krebs
